at the presentations. Awards are presented in order of most entrants to least.

| Five Aboard | For boats boats that sail all races with five people aboard. |
| Newbies | For owners who are at Key West for the first time in a J/105. |
| Family | For boats whose crew has two related people on board (by marriage or blood). |
| Mixed Gender | For boats with at least two crew of each gender. |
| Greybeards | For boats with two or more crew who are older than 50 years. |
| New Blood | For boats with two or more crew who are younger than 35 years. |
| Middling | For the boat that finishes in the middle of the fleet (top of the bottom half if an even number of boats are entered). A gift certificate of $100 to West Marine. No DSQs in this category. |
RULES: The cash award will be made first and is independent of any "daily silver" won. Subsequent awards will be made in order from most entries to fewest entries and winners in any category will be disqualified from subsequent categories. Awards will be presented 6:00 p.m. Thursday night at the JBoats tent. If you snooze, you lose (award goes to the next boat on the list).
