The third and final race of the 2019 San Diego Yacht Club Hot Rum Series could not be sailed due to a lack of wind. The expected seabreeze that often develops from the WNW never fully materialized to launch the fleet of 125+ boats across the starting line with any hope of getting them all back in by sunset. As a result, the series standings from the previous two races stood as this year’s overall results. J/105s dominated the large 28-boat PHRF 4 Class. Leading the fleet was Dennis Case’s J/105 J-OK.
