Charleston Yacht Club hosted a Women’s J/105 Invitational on Charleston Harbor. This year, six teams enjoyed a weekend of fun racing. In the end, it was Elizabeth Pilcher’s JOYRIDE that posted three bullets and a deuce for 5 points total to take the win. Pilcher’s team included Mary Corbett, Jen Hayes, Katherine Saenger, Jackie Welles and Amy Woodard. Nancy Hagood’s team on SKIMMER took the silver by scoring a 3-1-3-3 for 10 points. Her team consisted of Logan Bonner Hanckel, Ella Deschamps, Grace Flanagan, Windy Key, Sarah Sullivan and Cathy Swanson. Rounding out the podium was Katie Mallory’s RUMFRONT, posting a 2-3-2-5 scoreline for 12 points. Her team included Jeane Herman, Frannie Mckenzie, Becky Royal, Katie Williamson, Catie Yeager and Jessica Yeager.
