The San Francisco Yacht Club held its annual Summer Keelboat Regatta on San Francisco Bay in somewhat classic SF Bay conditions: a bit of fog, a bit of sun and a bit of breeze from the west. SFYC hosted a fleet of 18 J/105s and managed to run five races. Ryan Simmons’ BLACKHAWK posted a 6-1-2-2-1 tally for 12 points to win the event. Taking second was Tim Russell’s NENE with a tally of 3-9-4-1-2 for 19 points. Rounding out the podium was Jeff Litfin’s MOJO with a 1-2-7-5-7 record for 22 points. The balance of the top five included Charles Pick’s BOX OF RAIN and Bruce Stone & Nicole Breault’s ARBITRAGE in fourth and fifth, respectively.
