The weather may not have delivered, but for many of the 7,000 sailors who headed out for the 90th anniversary of the Island Sailing Club’s Round the Island Race, this was a big day out in Cowes, Isle of Wight, England. The forecast for overcast skies and light winds were not enough to put off 1,078 teams to take part in one of the biggest races in the world. The J/105 fleet saw Andrew Roberts’ JIN TONIC win, with William Newton’s JELLY BABY in second, and Tom Hayhoe’s MOSTLY HARMLESS in third. For more Round Island Race information, visit
