J/Fest San Francisco

The 2015 J/Fest regatta hosted by St. Francis Yacht Club had an excellent turnout of 50 boats, who were treated to a wet and wild weekend of sailing in classic 15-25 knot breezes. The 21-boat J/105 fleet saw Phil Laby and his Godot crew recover from an 11 in the first race to post a 4-4-1-1 in the remaining bouts to win the tie-breaker on 21 points with colleague Jeff Littfin on Mojo. Not far off was Adam Spiegel on Jam Session sitting on 27 points in third. Bruce Stone on Arbitrage claimed fourth, and in fifth was Doug Bailey on Akula.
